Mushroom, Capsicum & Beetroot Hummus Toast by Saveen Kaur

 


A delicious healthy gorgeous looking snack! Rich in nutrients, it is one of the best snacking option!


Ingredients -

Beetroot Hummus to spread
4 slices of Bread
10-12 Mushrooms
1/2 cup Capsicum
2-3 tbsp Sesame Seeds
1 tbsp Peanuts
2-4 Cherry Tomatoes
1 tbsp Butter
1/2 tbsp Oil
Salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste


Method -


Cook Mushrooms

In a Kadhai, heat butter. 
Add chopped Mushrooms. 
Add salt and black pepper to taste. 
Mix well. 
Cook for 3-4 minutes till done. 
Keep aside. 


Cook Capsicum

In a Kadhai, add oil and heat it. 
Add chopped Capsicum. 
Add salt and black pepper to taste. 
Mix it well. 
Let it cook till done.
It will take approximately 3-5 minutes. 
Keep aside. 


In a kadhai, roast sesame seeds and keep it aside. 

In the same kadhai, roast peanuts and keep it aside. 

Toast the bread slices. 

On a toast, apply some Beetroot Hummus. 
Spread cooked Mushrooms & Capsicum on Toast. 
Garnish the toast with roasted Sesame Seeds & Peanuts.
