Cherished Memories With Aiman

Last week I lost one of my dearest friend Aiman.

It was early morning on 14th October, I got the news, an unbelievable news that Aiman is no more.
This left me completely shattered and shaken.

I knew Aiman had Cancer, she was under medication and was also responding very well to medication. I was always under the impression that she will surely recover and will be fine. But this sudden heartbreaking news broke me badly.

Aiman was an extremely brave girl with a very strong will power and a real fighter who fought this battle with great strength, dignity and grace. Till the end she kept a very positive approach and lived triumphantly challenging her illness. She was detected with this illness only when it was at the last stage. She passed away very peacefully.

Aiman was a very successful entrepreneur. She was a very successful fashion designer running a boutique and also ran an Event Management Company.

She was a very enthusiastic girl, so full of life and filled with ideas for almost everything.

So talented and creative and a complete and constant source of inspiration for me.

She was the best daughter, granddaughter, sister, wife and friend.
She fulfilled all her roles in Life so beautifully and above all was a Great Soul.

Aiman and me were friends for many years but in the past 4-5 years our friendship grew and had deepened a lot!

Aiman and me would go out often and discuss creative ideas and business plans.
She used to make beautiful fondant cakes but since she was aware that  I'm not much of a fan of fondant cakes, she made this lovely KitKat Cake for my birthday with the theme as Sav's Kitchen and got it all the way from Silvaasa for me.

Trust me it was the best cake I have ever eaten in my life.

She had such an important influence on me and a very special place in my life and heart which I don't think can ever be filled by anyone.
It's very hard for me to believe she is not there with us.
For me she is always going to be alive in my memories.

Here are some favourite Moments with Aiman.

I'm truly blessed to experience your friendship Aiman and very proud of you!
Miss you lots Aiman
May your soul rest in peace. I'm sure you are at a much better place now...

  3. Sav, this is such a loving and touching tribute to Aiman. I'm writing this through tears and can't imagine the pain you and the family are going through. It is obvious that Aiman was so loved by everyone and it is wonderful that you all have these memories of her to get you through the difficult times. Although I didn't know Aiman, your post has highlighted what a beautiful person she was, both inside and out. Positive and healing thoughts are being sent to you and the family. xoxo
