Spaghetti In Mushroom Sauce


Half packet of Spaghetti
2 tbsps Olive Oil
1 onion sliced long
4 flakes of garlic
1 packet Mushroom - sliced
2 sticks of celery finely chopped
2 tbsp of celery leaves finely chopped
4 tbsp plain flour
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp salt or to taste
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp red chilli flakes
1/2 tsp sugar
4 tbsp fresh cream
1/2 tsp herbs
2 tbsp parsley for garnishing


Boil water in a pan, add salt and olive oil, add spaghetti and cook till ready.
Heat oil in a pan, add onions and garlic, then add chopped celery, add mushrooms, cook till rich in colour, should be goldenish brownish. Add flour and saute for 4-5 minutes over slow flame. Add salt, oregano, red chilli flakes and black pepper powder. Add water 3 cups and add chopped celery leaves. Add sugar. Let it boil till the sauce thickens. Add cream and let it cook for 2 minutes.
While serving place the spaghetti in the dish you want to serve and then pour over the sauce on it. Garnish it with parsley.
