Healing Masala Chai by Saveen Kaur

Hey lovelies so since the weather change is causing infections, cold and cough, I thought of sharing the Tea I like to indulge in such weather to get some comfort when feeling feverish and it is also good for immunity!

What is more amazing that it tastes so good 🫶


Serves - 2


Ingredients -


2 tsp Tea Powder

1 cup Milk

1 cup Water

A pinch of Cinnamon Powder

A pinch of Cardamom Powder 

A pinch of Black Pepper Powder

1 tsp Fennel Seeds

2-3 Cloves

1 inch Fresh Ginger

8-10 Basil (Tulsi) Leaves

A few strands of Lemongrass 

Sugar or Jaggery Powder as per taste


Method -


Boil water in a pan, add all spices, ginger and leaves.

Add tea powder.

Give it a nice boil and let it boil for a few minutes.

Add milk and let it boil.

Give it three to four boils.

Pour it in a kettle.

Pour it in individual cups.

Add Sugar and Jaggery as per taste.

Relish it so much 🫶

Your cup of comfort is ready ❤️
