Pav Bhaji by Saveen Kaur

 


This dish is one of my favourite dish to indulge in and I usually love to have it once a week at least 😋 

Thought of sharing the recipe of this delicious dish with you lovelies 💕

I am normally in a rush mode in the mornings so couldn't take a proper picture, sharing what I had for breakfast today 😊


Serves 4-5


Ingredients -


4 Onions - 2 during boiling, 1 during tempering, 1 to serve

2 Carrots

1 Green Capsicum 

1 Beetroot 

2 Potatoes

1 Green Chilli 

4-5 cloves of Garlic 

1 Wedge of Ginger

1 Lemon

1/4 th cup chopped Coriander

12 Pav Bhaji Pavs or more according to your requirement 

2 tsp Pav Bhaji Masala

1 tsp Red Chilli Powder 

1 tsp Turmeric Powder

1 tsp Chaat Masala 

1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder 

1/2 tsp Hing Powder

1 Cheese Slice

Salt to taste

Butter


Method -


Boil all diced vegetables together in a pressure cooker.

Just add salt when boiling the veggies.

After 5-6 whistles, remove it from the flame.

In a pan add 1 tsp butter, then add boiled veggies, mash them all well with a masher, add all spices and mix it in all well.

Add finely chopped onion, green chilli and coriander and mix it in all well.

Add 1 tsp butter and 1 cheese slice, mix it all well.

Remove from flame and serve hot with butter pavs or plain pavs depending on your requirement 😊
