A dish full of warmth and taste!
So this dish must have taken approx 20-25 minutes in total but it is so worth the time and effort!
Make this restaurant style low fat yummy gravy dish and enjoy it!
Serves - 4
Ingredients
1 Packet Mushrooms
1 Capsicum
2 Onions
2 Tomatoes
3 Cloves of Garlic
8-10 Cashews
1 tsp dry Ginger Powder
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Dhana Jeera Powder
1 tsp Jeera Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Shahi Paneer Masala
1 tsp Sugar
1 tbsp Butter
2-3 Cardamom Seeds
Salt to taste
4-5 Black Peppercorns
1 glass Water
1/2 cup Milk
Oil
Method
Cook Mushrooms
In a Kadhai, heat 1 tbsp oil.
Add 1 Chopped Clove of Garlic.
Immediately add Mushrooms Sliced thick.
Stir and add a pinch of salt.
Cook for two to three minutes till mushrooms change color.
Keep it aside.
Cook Capsicum
In a Kadha, add 1/2 tbsp oil.
Add diced Capsicum.
Add a pinch of salt.
Stir well.
Let it cook for two-three minutes.
Keep it aside.
Cook Gravy
In a small bowl, add 3 tbsp water.
Pour in the cashews and let it boil for 2-3 minutes.
Let it cool.
In a blender, add 2 Cloves of Garlic, 2 Tomatoes cut into four each, and 2 Onions cut into four each.
Add Cashews with water.
Blend them together into a fine paste.
In a Kadhai, heat oil.
Add the paste prepared above and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add butter and mix in well.
Then add all the spices mentioned above and let the masala thicken.
Add 1/2 cup water and give it a boil.
After two minutes add 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup milk combined.
Give it a boil and let it cook for 2-3 minutes, keep stirring the Gravy in between.
Reduce the flame to medium and let it cook till the Gravy starts thickening.
Add sugar.
Add cooked Mushrooms and Capsicum and let it cook for a few more minutes till done.
Serve it hot with Paratha or Jeera Rice as shown in the picture above.
To make simple Jeera Rice
In a Kadhai, heat oil, add jeera and then add boiled rice and salt to taste.
Stir it well and your Jeera Rice is ready in no time :)
