Oats Porridge by Saveen Kaur

Super healthy and super yummy is this Oats Porridge!

So warm and nice, its like a hug in a bowl :)

So I had made this yummy Oats Porridge for my post workout evening Snack and I had posted the picture of the same on my Instagram page where I got a few DM's asking to share the recipe of this yummy super snack!

So here we go!

I have added all my favourite spices and ingredients and made boring Oats porridge delicious and even more nutritious and healthy!
I have added Jaggery instead of sugar and added many more ingredients like Flax Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds and Shredded Coconut for toppings!
For spices I have added all my favourite ones - Clove, Cinnamon, Black Peppercorn and Fennel Seeds.

Trust me it is so delicious 😋

To make 1 bowl  - 

Ingredients - 

2 tbsp Oats ( I have used Quaker, not sponsored, lol )
1/2 cup Water
1/4 the cup Milk
1 tbsp Jaggery Powder, you can add more if you want it to be more sweeter!
2 Black Peppercorns
1 Clove
1 tsp Fennel Seeds
A pinch of Cinnamon
1 tsp Flax Seeds
1 tsp Pumpin Seeds
1 tsp Shredded Coconut

Method - 

In a Kadhai add oats, roast them slightly and then add milk and water!
Give it a boil and then reduce the heat on medium.
Then add black peppercorn, clove, cinnamon powder and fennel seeds.
Let it cook till it starts thickening.
Then add jaggery powder and mix in well.
Let it cook for a minute or two,
Pour it in a bowl and then garnish it with Flax Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds and Shredded Coconut!
Serve hot and relish.

To make more double the quantity as required.

I had it with Toast with Peanut Butter and it tasted yum!
