Vegetable Pulao by Saveen Kaur

Nutritious, vibrant looking delicious and healthy Pulao!

Actually the plan was to make Vegetable Daliya but I changed my mind last minute and made Vegetable Pulao and I am so glad I did that :) 

Ingredients - 

1 Onion
1 Tomato
1 Carrot
1/2 cup Peas
5-6 French Beans
1 Potato
1/2 Cup Rice
1/2 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Clove Garlic
1 Bay Leaf
1 Clove
1 tsp Mustard Seeds 
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
2 tsp Shahi Biryani Masala
1 tsp Chaat Masala
1 tsp Kitchen King Masala
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder 
1 tsp Turmeric Powder 
Salt to taste 
1 Green Chilli 

In a pressure cooker, heat oil, add bay leaf, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and green chilli. 
Add chopped onions and let it cook till pale in color. 
Add rest of the veggies and mix well. 
Add all the masala's and mix in well. 
Add rice. 
So normally some people prefer to soak the rice for an hour or two, you can do that too. 
I had made this dish impromptu so had not soaked the rice. 
Add 1 cup water or more if required and pressure cook the Pulao. 
Close it after 3-4 whistles or when done. 

Your super yummy Pulao is ready to be indulged in 😋
Enjoy it with Curd or Raita.
