Simple, soulful, delicious Pulao!
Ok so I mostly like to make dishes which don't require too many ingredients but have to be delicious and require less cooking time.
This is one of my favourite Pulao variation which I have made with Jeera and Matar.
It is so filling and delicious!
It can be eaten on its own or you could pair with Curd, Raita, Dal or Gravy, whatever you like :)
Ingredients
1 cup rice
2 tbsp Jeera
1/2 cup Peas
1 Bay Leaf
1 Clove
Salt to taste
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tbsp Oil
Coriander and Sliced Tomato for garnishing
Method
Soak rice for an hour.
In a Kadhai, add oil and let it heat.
Add Jeera and let it splutter, make sure it doesn't blacken or burn so add it on a slow flame.
Add the Clove and Bay Leaf.
Add Peas.
Add Salt and Red Chilli Powder and mix in well.
Add Rice. Drain the water of the soaked rice and add fresh water.
Let it cook on medium flame till done.
While serving, garnish it with coriander and sliced tomatoes as shown in the picture.
Happy Cooking Happy Relishing 😊
