Boondi Raita by Saveen Kaur

That's how I like to eat my Boondi Raita 💚
A delicious mix of Curd, Boondi and Spices!
Boondi are tiny little crispy yellow color balls made of deep fried gram flour. You get them ready made in the market. They are salted and are called Khari Boondi. You need to soak them in water for sometime before using them so that they become soft.

Half cup Boondi
200 gms Curd
1 tsp Salt or to taste
1 tsp Sugar (optional)
1 tsp Red chilli powder
3-4 Green chilli chopped
1 tbsp Coriander
1/4 th cup Milk

Soak boondi in water and keep it for sometime till it swells.
In a bowl add curd, it is very important to break the thick curd to slim it down to a thinner volume. First beat the curd. Then add room temperature milk and fold it in well with the curd.
Then mix in all the ingredients together well.
Your delicious Raita is ready.
Garnish with Coriander.
Keep it in the fridge till serving time.

Happy Cooking Happy Relishing 😊
