It's very healthy and recommended for everyone - kids and adults because of its nutritious benefits.
They are very easy to make and they don't require much time to make so do make it for your loved ones and enjoy yourself too 😊
Recipe of Amaranth Hearts
Ingredients -
250 gms Puffed Amaranth
1 Cup Jaggery
1/4 th Cup Sesame Seeds
1/3 rd Cup Peanuts (Optional)
Ghee for greasing
Method -
Roast sesame seeds, peanuts and Amaranth Puffs separately and keep them aside.
In a pan, add Jaggery and add little water to melt Jaggery.
Once it's properly melted, add sesame seeds, peanuts and Amaranth Puffs.
Mix them well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Take a plate or a lining tray, grease it with ghee and pour in the mixture.
Press it well with a spoon so that it is set.
Then take a heart shaped cookie cutter or any other of your choice, cut it into pieces, remove it carefully, let it cool and then store in an air tight container.
Eat it whenever you like 😊
