Hot & Spicy Soya Noodles by Saveen Kaur




So as I am writing this post, it's pouring like crazy outside and the foodie in me wants to indulge in all of my favourite foods which I like to eat during this beautiful rainy weather.

So here it goes - All fried stuff like Fritters, Hot Malpuas with Rabri 😍
For some healthy eating - Hot Corn on Cob with lots of Masala and Lemon juice 🌽🍋
Hot and Spicy Noodles with my favourite peppers 🍝
And when we talk about beverages it has to be Hot Chocolate first ❤ 

Other than that all variations of Tea 😄 
Yes I love to experiment a lot with my Tea and Hot Chocolate and keep making different kinda one each time 😃
So the list goes on and on but for now let me share with you the recipe of one of my favourite dish which is not only delicious 😋 but healthy too 💪
It's Hot and Spicy Soya Noodles 😍😋😉

Luckily nowadays there are many healthy options available in the market as far as Noodles are concerned so you can alternate the ones made with refined flour with Wheat, Soya, Nachni, etc.
Very simple to make and at the same time super delicious 😘

Recipe - 



Ingredients

1 packet of Soya noodles
1 Red bell pepper cut lengthwise
1 Yellow bell pepper cut lengthwise
1 Green capsicum cut lengthwise
4 Green onions sliced - also use the long stalks chopped finely
Salt to taste
Oil
1 tsp black Pepper Powder
1- 2 tsp Schezwan Sauce depending on how spicy you want, you can add more or less
2 tsp Soy sauce
1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
2 tbsp Sprouts

Method

Boil Soya Noodles. 
To boil noodles take a huge pan, add 5-6 cups of water, add salt to taste and 1 tbsp oil, when water reaches boiling point add noodles and boil them for 2-3 minutes till ready. They don't take much time to cook.
Make sure they don't get over cooked. Strain the noodles, if using immediately then just strain and keep. If your going to use later then run it under cold water and then toss some oil in it so that they don't stick.

 In a pan add oil, then add ginger - garlic paste, cook till it changes color and turns golden brown. 
Add sliced onions and peppers, saute, add salt and pepper and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
Add both sauces and mix well, then add and fold in the noodles slowly so that they get mixed nicely. Cook for 2 minutes, add green onion stalks and cook for a minute. Sprinkle some sprouts over them.
Hot and Spicy Soya noodles are ready!

Kindly note : you can also add Carrots and French Beans too if you like 😊
