Banoffee Tart





Tart

250 gm Flour
125 gm butter
65 gm sugar
15ml fresh cream

Method:

Crumble butter and flour together.
Mix powdered sugar.
Mix cream.
Rest the dough and sheet at 2 mm thickness.
Line the mould and bake at 170 degree.


Banoffee

1 can milk maid
50 gm whipped cream

Method:Place the milk maid can in hot water and place in oven @160 for 4 hours.
Cool it and take the mixture out.


Toffee sauce

20 grams butter
100 grams sugar
50 ml cream

Method:

Place the sugar into a pan and caramelize, do not burn.
Keeping a distance add the butter slowly and let the two ingredients come to the boil.
Slowly add the cream.
Cook until a thick consistence occurs.
Take off the heat and let cool until needed.

Assemble

Spread a bit of toffee sauce at the base of tart.
Pipe the banoffee mixture in the tart over the toffee sauce.
Garnish with caramelised banana.
