Missi Roti

I love Missi Roti and you know what I had it with chopped Mangoes, the combo complimented very well with each other and it was yum, yum, yum.....

Missi Roti is made with whole wheat flour, dark brown chickpea and lentil.

In hindi it is called Atta, Chane Ki Dal ka Atta and Besan respectively.

Kindly note people often get confused thinking chane ki dal and besan to be same. But they are both different.

Ingredients

1 cup wheat flour
Half cup besan chane ki dal
2 spoons Chane Ka Atta Kala chana
1 tsp salt or to taste
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp dhana jeers powder
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp white sesame
1 tap ajwain
Chopped onion optional - 1
Chopped coriander - 1 tbsp
Chopped mint - 1 tbsp
Chopped green chillies - 3-4
Ghee

Method

Mix all the above ingredients together well and knead a dough out of it.

Make flat roti's and then cook them on a griddle and fry it on both the sides applying sum ghee all over it.

Serve it hot with Raita, Vegetable, Pickle or you can also have it with Tea. It tastes amazing.
In my case I had it with chopped mangoes, it was mind blowing!
