And my love for strawberries continues.....

Berry Nut Delight

Strawberry Sauce With Caramelized Strawberries and Walnut Biscuit Rocks Served With Vanilla Ice Cream!!!

Yeah yeah I know by now your mouth is watering reading the above contents.
You know what I got really excited when I had caramelized the strawberries for the first time while making   Warm Nutella Toast With Caramelized Strawberry And Walnuts so the next day I made caramelized strawberries again, and I had made Walnut Biscuit Rocks the day I made  Chocolate Coated Nutella Biscuit Sandwich, its like when I make things with chocolate, I feel like a small kid playing around with toys, in this case the toys being chocolate, biscuits and walnuts. I just love trying out different variations. I had made quite a few pieces of Walnut Rocks but when I was gonna make this dish, there were just 5-6 left, thanx to my siblings, who kept raiding them from the box despite a warning given to them, that I gotta use them for a dish.
Anyways its always a pleasure to see your creations appreciated and eaten out well ;)

Making Strawberry Sauce is extremely easy -

Cut 15-20 strawberries into pieces, blend them into a fine paste.
Pour this paste in a non-stick pan, add 1 tbsp water, 1 tsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp sugar. Mix it well and cook it on low flame for a few minutes. Your kitchen will smell like heaven :)

To Make Caramelized Strawberries -

Slice strawberries the way you want.
Take a non stick pan.
Put in washed moist strawberries, sprinkle sugar over it and then spray some water on a medium flame.
The texture of strawberries will start changing and they will become soft and tender.

To Make Walnut Biscuit Rocks -

Dip Wafer Biscuits, I have used Pickwick, in melted chocolate and roll them over crushed walnuts and let them set on a plate covered with aluminum foil in the freezer for 10-15 minutes. Use it like a topping for Sundae's or just eat it like that. Yummy to the core. I have used Milk Chocolate, you can use Dark or Milk, whichever you prefer. My brother has a major sweet tooth so keeping that in mind I have used Milk otherwise I simply love Dark Chocolate.

To Assemble

Place Vanilla Ice Cream In a Serving Bowl - 1 or 2 scoops, depends on you.
Swirl Strawberry Sauce over it and place Caramelized Strawberries and Walnut Biscuit Rocks.
Relish the yummy treat :)
