Dry Aloo Sabzi

Dry Aloo Sabzi

Very easy and simple to make.

It can be eaten with roti or can also be used for sandwiches.

In case using for a sandwich, you can mix mayonnaise and pudina chutney and make a dip and spread it on the bread and put the sabzi in between.

It can also be eaten with puri.


Boil 4 potatoes, peel and cut them into 1 inch squares.
1 tea spoon jeera or black cumin
1 tea spoon rai or mustard seeds 
1 onion chopped finely
2 green chillies chopped finely
1 tsp salt or to taste
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp aam choor or dry mango powder
1 tsp dhania jeera powder
1 tsp haldi or turmeric
2 tsp coriander leaves chopped finely
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp ginger - garlic paste


Heat oil in a pan, add jeera, rai, wait till rai splutters, add ginger garlic paste, green chillies, then add onions and cook them till pink in color.
Add salt, haldi, red chilli powder, aam choor, dhania jeera powder. Mix well
Add potatoes and chopped coriander and mix well.
Put it in a bowl.
Garnish with chopped coriander sprinkled over.
Serve hot.
