Gajjar Ka Halwa by Saveen Kaur

 


One of my most favourite winter dish be like 🤩😋


Hey lovelies so Gajjar Ka Halwa is one of my most favourite dish I love to indulge in during winters and this is one particular dish I like it very rarely when eaten outside except for when I am lucky enough to find a good one so I mostly prefer making this at home!


Ingredients to make this yumness -

1 kg Carrots ( Grated )

1 litre Milk 

1/2 Cup Sugar

A pinch of Elaichi Powder 

2 tbsp Ghee or more as per your requirement 

Dry Fruits of your choice


Method -

In a kadhai, add 1 tbsp Ghee.

Add grated Carrots and mix them well.

Roast them for a few minutes.

Add Milk and mix in well.

Add Elaichi Powder.

Cook covered for half an hour or so.

When almost done 80 % add Sugar and Dry Fruits, mix in well.

Let it cook properly for a few minutes.

Add Ghee and mix in well properly.

Keep stirring for a few minutes till you get a good finishing touch!

Pour it in serving bowl.

Serve it hot 🔥
