Creamy Mint Mushrooms on Toast by Saveen Kaur


Hello July with this super yummy weight loss friendly snack {in case you are looking for one :)} 

So I was in a mood to eat something delicious homemade snack so whipped up this delicious Creamy Mushrooms on Toast sans Cheese 😍🧀😋

It is so easy to make all you need is 15 minutes and a hot cup of coffee to pair with this delicious snack and you are set for your fabulous evening snack time. 

I have given it a mint twist and trust me it tastes so damn good! 

Serves - 3

Ingredients - 

1 packet of Mushrooms 

6 Slices Of bread 

1 Onion chopped

2 Cloves of Garlic chopped

5-6 Mint leaves chopped

1 tbsp Oil

2 tbsp Milk or more as per required

1 tsp Red Chilli Flakes 

1 tsp Oregano 

1 tsp Black Pepper Powder 

1 tsp Chaat Masala 

2 tsp Sugar

Salt to taste

Coriander for garnishing 

Method - 

Heat Oil in a pan. 

Add chopped garlic and let it cook till it turns golden color. 

Add sliced Onions, cook till it turns translucent in color. 

Add sliced Mushrooms and saute them on medium heat for a few minutes. 

Add Oregano, Red Chilli Flakes, Chaat Masala and Black Pepper Powder. 

Add 1 tbsp Water and mint leaves. Give it a small boil and then reduce the flame. 

Add sugar and mix in well. 

Add Milk and mix in well. Let it cook for a few minutes but make sure it doesn't dry up completely. 

Side by side toast the bread slices. 

Now before serving you can butter the toast if you want otherwise leave it. 

Spread the mushroom mix you have made evenly on all toasts. 

Garnish with Coriander. 

Your super delicious Creamy Mint Mushrooms on Toast is ready to be relished :)
