Chole Aloo Tikki Chaat by Saveen Kaur


Super delicious and so healthy, a chaat truly to be relished!

Recipe of Chole Aloo Tikki Chaat 


1 cup Chole (Check Recipe Below)
2 Aloo Tikki (Check Recipe Below)
5-6 Pistachios chopped roughly 
5-6 Cashews chopped roughly 
2 tbsp or more as per taste Hot & Sweet Sauce
1 cup Curd

1 Onion chopped

1 Tomato chopped

A pinch of Salt

1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Jeera Powder
1 Green Chilli chopped finely 
10-12 Banana Chips crushed


On a plate, place the Tikki's in the centre.
Then add Chole on one of the side.
Top up the entire thing with Curd.

Spread chopped onions and tomatoes over.

Drizzle sauce over it.

Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder and jeera powder.

Garnish with Pistachios, Cashews, Green Chilli and Banana Chips.
Drizzle some more sauce over it if you like.

Your delicious healthy super filling Chaat is ready to be relished.

I have used Hot and Sweet Sauce because I didn't have imli chutney when I was making, it was an impromptu mood!
You can replace sauce with chutney if you like. You can also add green chutney! Check all recipes below!
It tasted fab with sauce too 😍👌

Recipe of Chole 

Ingredients -

1 cup Kabuli Chana
1 Bay Leaf
1 Cinnamon Stick
1 Moti Elaichi
1 Clove 
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
2 tbsp Chana Masala
2 tbsp Chaat Masala
1 tsp Dhana Jeera Powder
1 tsp Jeera Powder
1 Onion Chopped
2 Tomatoes : Make a puree of two Tomatoes
1 tbsp Kasuri Methi
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste 
1 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Cumin Seeds 

Method -
Soak Chana overnight. Drain the water before cooking. 
In a pressure cooker, add Chana, 2 cups Water, chopped Onion, Ginger Garlic paste, Moti Elaichi, Cinnamon, Clove, Chana Masala, Chaat Masala, Bay Leaf. 
Pressure cook it. Give it 5-6 whistles. 

In a Kadhai, add Oil, heat it, add Cumin Seeds then add the Tomato puree and let it cook for a few minutes. 
Add Dhana Jeera Powder, Jeera Powder and Red Chilli Powder and mix it well. 

Add pressure cooked Chana, mix in well and then give it a boil. 
Cook on low heat for a few minutes and then pressure cook again. 
3-4 whistles and your delicious Chana is ready. 

So easy!

Recipe of  Aloo Tikki 


2 Boiled Potatoes
1/2 Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Kasoori Methi
Salt to taste
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Dhana Jeera Powder
1 tsp Jeera Powder
1 tsp Chaat Masala
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tbsp Rice Flour


In a bowl, add boiled Potatoes.
Add all the above ingredients except oil.
Bind the mixture together. 
Scoop out equal portion balls and roll them out in flat round cutlet shape.

On a non stick pan, brush some oil and cook these tikki's on medium flame.

Recipe of Green Chutney 


1 cup chopped Coriander
1 tsp salt or to taste
5 green chillies
2 tsp jeera
1 tbsp daaliya
1 tsp sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
Water to grind


Blend all the ingredients with little water. Add little more water if required to make a smooth chutney.
Store it in the refrigerator.

Recipe of Meethi Chutney 


150 gms jaggery
100 gms red seedless dates
2 dry chillies
1 tbsp jeera
1 - 1/2 glass water
Salt to taste


Put the above contents to boil together for 20 minutes.
Let them cool and then grind into a fine chutney.
Some people add, tamarind too but I prefer it without it. 
In case you like tamarind, you can always add it.
