So this Diwali on Sav's Kitchen, I have got this yummy dessert recipe for you -
Rice Kheer, it is so simple to make and most of all, loved by one and all 😊

Recipe -

Ingredients -

1 cup rice soaked in 2 cups water for 2 hours

1 cup of milk, you can always add more if you feel the Kheer is turning to be thick.

50 gms slivered pistachios, slivered almonds, cashews, etc. all or any of your choice

50 gms raisins

1 tsp cardamom powder

Few rose petals for garnishing (optional)

Method

Heat rice with water in a kadhai on medium flame.

Add cardamom powder.

When the rice is almost done, add milk and then sugar after a few minutes.

Let it cook till the Kheer thickens.

Add dry fruits while it is being cooked.

Let it cool before putting into the bowls or one big serving bowl.

Place it in the refrigerator.

At serving time, garnish it with nuts and rose petals.

Your yummy dessert is ready to be relished 😋

Enjoy!
