Dry Fruit Laddoos by Bindu Borle

A very simple and quick recipe for making healthy and delicious dry fruits ladoos for the festive season.
It is a sugar-free recipe and can be made vegan as well, if honey is replaced with maple syrup.

Ingredients:

100 gms cashew nuts
100 gms pistachios
100 gms walnuts
100 gms pecans(Optional)
100 gms almonds

Fine pistachio dust/powder for final coating.

2-4 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup

Method:

Grind all the ingredients, it can be done either separately or together. If grinding separately, make sure that consistency and texture is the same.

The nuts mixture has to be uniformly coarse to mix well.

After grinding, dry mix the ingredients in a bowl and add 2-4 tablespoons of either honey or maple syrup ( This can be used, if you are making vegan laddoos) to bind it together.

Once the mix is ready, grease your hands with ghee and take small portion from the mixture. Shape them into balls and arrange in a plate.

Once the laddoos are shaped, roll them into pistachio dust.

The laddoos are ready to be served.

These can easily stay for 8-10 days and are very healthy and nutritious.
