A perfect 4 p.m. snack! Tangy, Tasty and Healthy too!
I was really in a mood to have something salty, tangy and tasty, so was wondering what to do as I really needed it that time and couldn't wait to go out and indulge or order for something from out. I scouted through my kitchen cabinets and found these items shown in the picture below.
As you know I love to mix and match and fuse in food too, so here is one of my special mix ;)

These are the ingredients of the mix, apart from these you need to add salt and red chilli powder.
The pictures are quite self explanatory but I will still specify them -
Parle Cheeselings
Roasted Papad
Sev
1 tsp Lemon Juice
Roasted Peanuts
1 Onion chopped
1 Tomato chopped
Salt to taste
1 tsp Red Chilli powder
Coriander for garnishing
Tempered Puffed Rice
Mix all the above contents in a bowl.
Your Mix is ready!
Tempered Puffed Rice was lying cooked from before.
To Temper Puffed Rice you need to heat oil in a kadhai, add curry leaves, add puffed rice, add salt to taste and a pinch of turmeric powder. Mix it well and cook on low flame for a minute or two. Remove it from flame and let it cool. Store in an air tight container and have it whenever you like.
The mix looked so colourful and beautiful, I just couldn't resist taking pictures!
