Mint & Ginger Tea


Rains are here and this is the perfect season to indulge in unlimited Ginger Tea!!!! Flavour of the season is Ginger to Ginger Up Your Life when the dark clouds can get you down sometimes ;)


I am a major Tea addict, need at least 5-6 cups in a day to keep me going and you know what I like to have different flavours in a day itself so like many variations in them. Hate Monotony be it in life or food ;) So i'l share with you all my different variations of Tea one by one here on Sav's Kitchen blog.
But first let's start with the Tea above in the picture - Mint & Ginger Tea!

To make 1 cup - 

Half Cup Water
Half Cup Milk
8-10 Mint Leaves
1 tsp grated Ginger
1 tsp Tea powder
1 tsp Sugar


Method

Boil in water in a saucepan.
Add mint leaves and grated ginger and let it boil till the water reduces 1/4th in consistency so that it gets the flavor of mint and ginger.
Add tea powder and boil for a minute.
Add milk and sugar and give it one to two boils.
Pour it in a cup and serve hot.
