Fusilli & Peppers On Bread



Bell Peppers, Cheese, Olives, Pasta and Bread make a deadly gorgeous and yummy combination! The green Olives enhance the taste dramatically. Loved the blend of flavors!


I have made three variations with the same ingredients, the only difference being - quantity of cheese and bread.

For my Parents, I have made using less cheese, it is an healthy option since I have used olive oil and wheat pasta.

For my siblings, I have used lots of cheese.

Third variation is Bread, I have used French Loaf variations in two with less and more cheese and a slice of Bread with too much cheese, it was yum! I love cheese ;)

Boil Pasta

You first need to boil pasta.

I have used Tricolor Fusilli.

To cook Pasta, you need to boil 6-8 cups of water in a pan, depending on the quantity, if more, add more water, you should give it enough space and water to cook well. Add salt to taste. When water reaches boiling point, add oil - olive or any cooking oil and then add pasta.
Cook it well till it is almost cooked. Be careful, it should not get over - cooked.
After it is cooked, drain the water with the help of a strainer and run cold tap water over it.
If you are going it use it later, then toss little oil and mix it well. Be careful, it should spoil the shape of pasta.

Ingredients

1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Thai Seasoning
1 Red Chilli Flakes
1 tsp Oregano 
1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
Salt to taste
Bell Peppers - 1 each - Red, Green & Yellow
Green Olives sliced for garnishing
Mozzarella Cheese
Paprika Powder to sprinkle on top before cooking.
Butter to grease the pan.

Kindly note the above quantity is to cook Pasta and Peppers. For garnishing and sprinkling you need more according to the serving which you can do as per required.

Method

Heat oil, add Peppers, add ready made Thai Seasoning, Red Chilli Flakes, Black Pepper Powder and Salt, toss it for a few minutes. Add boiled pasta. Keep it aside.


Assemble

Take a slice of bread, add pasta, shower cheese, sprinkle oregano, red chilli flakes and decorate Olives.
Cook it on a non-stick covered pan till the cheese melts. Grease the pan with butter so that the bread does not get burned.

Next

Assemble on sliced French loaf, add pasta, lots of cheese, olives, paprika powder, black pepper powder, oregano and red chilli flakes.
