Bell Peppers and Cottage Cheese |
By now you must have understood that both Bell Peppers and Cottage Cheese are my favorites.
Since I am a vegetarian, Cottage Cheese is something that is a part of my daily diet, hence keep experimenting with it too often by cooking in different styles. Cottage Cheese is low in Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Riboflavin, Vitamin B12, Phosphorus and Selenium, and a very good source of Protein.
Ingredients
200 gms cottage cheese
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp kasoori methi
1 tsp dry oregano
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
1/2 tsp paprika powder
1/2 sugar
1/2 cumin powder
1/2 tsp chat masala
1 onion choppes
1/2 Red Bell Pepper
1/2 Yellow Bell Pepper
Salt to taste
Method
Heat butter in a pan, add chopped onions, wait till the color of onions turns pale, add ginger-garlic paste, let it turn goldenish brown in color, add kasoori methi, add lemon pepper, oregano, paneer tikka masala, paprika powder, cumin powder, chat masala and salt. Mix well. Add bell peppers and mix well. Add 1/4th cup water, give it a boil, add half tsp sugar and cook on low heat till the bell peppers are almost cooked. Add cottage cheese and mix well.
Serve hot!
