Cocktail Mini Burgers

Sometimes good things come packed in small packages ;)

Cocktail Mini Burgers

Burgers are something that are universally loved by everyone from kids to elders. A wholesome meal in itself, love the combination of crispy cutlets, wrapped up with juicy and yummy sauces and packed in smooth and soft bun. One of my favorite snack!

I have used mini buns and tried something different with the cutlet and dip, hope you like it :)

Ingredients

2 Packets Whole Wheat Mini Buns
1 bottle of American mustard
2 onions sliced roundwise
2 tomatoes sliced roundwise

Cutlets

For The Corn Cheese Cutlet

5-6 potatoes
3/4 cup soya granules
3 slices of bread
1 cup sweet corn
4 cubes of cheese grated
2 tsp salt or to taste
1 tsp tandori chicken masala
1 tsp dry mango powder
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp garlic bread seasoning
2 tbsp cornflour
Bread crumbs
Oil for frying

Method
Boil potatoes and mash them.
Give one boil to soya granules, squeeze out the water and add them in mashed potatoes.
Boil sweet corn with 1 tsp salt. Strain corn and remove water. Add the corn in potato mix.
Soak slices of bread in water, squeeze out the water and add potato mix.
Add grated cheese and all the spices and seasonings.
Mix well and make a nice dough.
Shape them in cutlets.
Keep them in a freezer for half an hour before frying.
Make a smooth paste of cornflour and water.
Before frying, dip the cutlets in cornflour paste and then roll them on bread crumbs and coat the cutlet well. Deep fry till the colour is golden brown.
Remove them from fire and place them on an absorbent paper so that it soaks up all extra oil.

Mayo-Cheese Dip

Mayo-Cheese Dip

Ingredients

1 bottle of eggless mayonnaise, you can also use olive, garlic, etc. whichever you prefer, there are many options available in the market.
2 cheese cubes grated
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp chilli flakes

Mix them together and make a lovely dip.

To Assemble Cocktail Mini Burgers

Cut the buns into two.
Apply mustard on the lower base of the bun.
Place the cutlet on it.
Spread Mayo-Cheese Dip generously on the cutlet.
Place a slice of onion and tomato on it.
Drizzle some mustard.
Close it with the other half of the bun.
Seal it with a toothpick.
Your Cocktail Mini Burger is ready to be relished.
You can serve them with some chips and cheese fingers along. I prefer to have them with juice over aerated drinks.
