Vegetable Pulao by Saveen Kaur

 

Delicious Heart Warming Dish to satisfy your soul, taste buds and tummy 😊


Hey lovelies so here comes a super delicious, full of warmth, health and nutrition, Dish 😍😋

Super easy to make, you are going to love this so much ❤️


Ingredients - 

1 cup Rice soaked for 30 minutes

2 cups Water

1 Beetroot

1 Potato

1 Tomato

1 Onion

1/2 cup Peas

1 tsp Cumin Seeds

1 tsp Mustard Seeds

1 tsp Red Chilli Powder 

1 tsp Turmeric Powder 

1 tsp Chaat Masala 

1 tsp Pav Bhaji Masala

Salt to taste

1 tbsp Oil

1 Bay Leaf 

1 Cinnamon Stick

2 Cloves

2 Green Cardamom

2 Peppercorns

Peanuts for Garnishing

A few mint leaves


Method - 

In a Pressure Cooker add Oil. 

Let it heat for a few seconds on slow flame and then add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. 

Add Bay leaf, Cloves, Cardamom, Black Peppercorns and Cinnamon Stick. 

Add all chopped Veggies and saute them for a few minutes. 

Add Turmeric powder, Red Chilli Powder, Chaat Masala and Salt. 

Mix in everything well together. 

Drain the water out of soaked rice and then mix it in the veggies. 

Add 2 cups or more Water as required. 

Close the pressure cooker lid. 

Pressure Cook on high flame for 4-5 whistles. 

Remove it from the flame. 

Open it after sometime. 

Spread the cooked rice on a serving dish. 

Garnish it with crushed Peanuts and Mint Leaves.
