Creamy Penne by Saveen Kaur

Penne coated with a Creamy and Delicious Sauce!

So here is the recipe of a Pasta dish that I made over the weekend for my fam!

A simple recipe developed out of instinct and mood to make something delicious :)

A creamy and delicious blend of white sauce and red sauce, where in the proportion of white sauce is greater compared to the red sauce.

Serves - 3 

Recipe - 

Ingredients - 

100 gms Penne
2 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Flour (Maida)
1 tsp Oil
1 tbsp Fun Foods Red Pasta Sauce
1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
2 tbsp Parsley chopped
Salt to taste
1 tsp Sugar
2 Amul or Britannia Cheese Cubes
Half cup milk - Room Temperature and mix this with half cup of water
Add more of the Milk and Water Mix if required.

Method - 

Boil Penne and keep aside.

To boil Penna, heat water in a pan, let it come to a boil, add 1 tsp oil and a pinch of salt. 
Add Penne. Boil. Once done, remove it from the flame, strain it and run through tap water.
If your going to make Pasta after a few hours, then just toss in some oil over the boiled penne, mix it well and keep aside.

Pasta Sauce - 

In a non stick pan, add butter and flour, mix it well and keep stirring on medium flame till it changes color.
Add milk and water mix and mix in well.
Add black pepper, salt and sugar and keep stirring till the sauce thickens.

In a pan, add oil and let it become hot.
Add ready made red pasta sauce and stir it for a minute or so.
Mix in this paste into the white sauce well.
Add grated cheese and mix it well.
Add chopped parsley.
Mix in well.
Add penne and mix it in well.
Give it a boil and then cook on low flame covered for 3-4 minutes.
Put it in the serving bowl, garnish it with grated Cheese and Parsley.
Serve hot!
