Sinful Brownie by Saveen Kaur


Sinful Brownie


Beginning 2018 on an sinful indulgence note with this yummy dessert which is made with Goey  Brownie, Cream, Caramelized Strawberries and Hot Chocolate Sauce!




Brownies are so easy to make and so much fun to play with! You can whip up so many more desserts using brownie as one of the element :)In this post I will share with you the recipe of Brownie and also how I combined it with more elements and played around with them to make it a sinful combination 😊





Ingredients - 

1 cup maida
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup curd
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda for baking
1/2 cup oil
1 tsp vanilla essence






Method

Mix maida (sift through strainer), cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla essence and oil. Mix in the curd. Curd should be beaten lightly.
Mix in all together well to make a smooth batter. If batter is thick then add little more curd.

Grease a tin with butter. Dust little maida over it through a strainer and spread it so that it coats the tin well. Add the brownie batter and spread it evenly. Tap it once or twice on the table so that it settles perfectly.

Pre-heated the oven @ 210.C for 10 minutes. Bake brownies @ 150.C for 30 minutes or till done.
Insert a knife and check. If the knife comes out clean, then that means its done, if not then let t bake it done. Once done, let be in the oven for sometime till it cools down.


Your brownie is ready, now play with it by making all sorts of Sundae's, Desserts and Shakes.

How To Make Caramelized Strawberries







Very simple. Slice strawberries the way you want.
Take a non stick pan.
Put in washed moist strawberries, sprinkle sugar over it and then spray some water on a medium flame.
The texture of strawberries will start changing and they will become soft and your kitchen will smell amazing. Love the aroma let out on making caramelized strawberries :)



Make Chocolate Sauce

To make chocolate sauce, melt it in a double boiler and add some water and make it into a smooth sauce.



Cream - 


In a bowl combine 2 cups cream, 1/4 cup powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla essence and beat it lightly and keep it in the fridge for 20 minutes so that it thickens.




 Assemble -

On a plate lay the brownie, spread the cream, garnish it with caramelised strawberries and drizzle some hot chocolate sauce over it. 

You can eat it warm or keep it in the fridge to set for sometime.
