Soya Paneer Kebabs

Delectable Kebabs made with Soya and Paneer!

Kebabs placed covered in bread crumbs

Ingredients

Soya Chunks - 1 cup soaked in 2 cups water
Cottage Cheese crumbled - 1 cup
Cornflour - 1 tbsp or more to bind the mixture well
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Nutmeg Powder - 1 tsp
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Chaat Masala - 1 tsp
Bread Crumbs 2 tbsp
Paprika Powder - 1 tsp
Oil for frying

Method

Mix in all the above contents together except bread crumbs and make a dough of the mixture. Roll them into small balls and then flatten them and make tikki's.
Make sure you squeeze out the excess water from Cottage Cheese (incase it is homemade) and Soya Chunks soaked in water.
Keep the tikki's on a plate laid with bread crumbs and sprinkle on top too. Cover them completely in bread crumbs.
Heat Oil in a frying pan, when it is hot, deep fry the kebabs. Before putting the kebabs in oil, dust off the excess bread crumbs to avoid the oil from turning black.
Fry them one by one and soak off the excess oil by placing them on an absorbent paper.

Serve with Chutney, Sliced Onions and Sliced Lemon.
They taste delectable!
Enjoy :)
