Tahini and Red Bell Pepper Dip

I am sure by now you know how much I love Bell Peppers ;)

Now this was the first time I have roasted a Red Bell Pepper and it was also the first time, I have used Tahini and the outcome of the firsts was Brilliant.

Tahini is a paste made from ground, hulled sesame seeds used in North African, Greek, Iranian, Turkish, and Middle Eastern cuisine. Tahini is served as a dip on its own or as a major component of hummus, baba ghanoush, and halva. Source : Wikipedia

Ingredients

1 Red Bell Pepper
1 tsp salt salt
1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
1/2 tsp Nutmeg powder
1/2 tsp Cumin powder
1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
1/2 tsp Paprika powder
1 tbsp Honey
1 tsp Sugar
1 tbsp Lemon juice
2-3 tbsp Tahini sauce
2-3 cloves of Garlic chopped
1/2 tsp Cardamon powder
Garnish with parsley

Method

Roast the Bell Pepper on the flame directly. Once the outer skin turns black, bring it below running water and wash off and scrap off the outer peel. You will get a glowing pulp inside after peeling the outer roasted skin.

Chop the roasted Bell Pepper into rough cubes and then grind them with the Tahini Sauce. Add the remaining seasonings and spices and blend them well.

Your dip is ready. Relish it ;)

Isn't it so easy to make? And trust me it was very yummy to taste :)

Please remember you can always adjust the seasonings and spices according to taste.

With full humility, this dip was amazing. Mum loved it which made me so happy :)
